Ya'll I can't even begin to describe the excitement I have that you're even considering me! Being your photographer means that we will be spending a little bit of time together! We will be BFF's all through your planning, and I might even get jiggy with you on the dance floor (; Because of this, I want to make sure that not only are you in love with my work, but that you're also in love with my personality! Nothing sucks more than spending time with someone you don't like! So let me tell you a little about me!

First of all, I let my freak flag fly. That probably sounds a little dirty, but it's not what you think! I am just not afraid to be myself! I'm weird, I'm probably going to hype you up too much, and I think I'm funny. Ugh, people that think they're funny are the worst I know.
I am obsessed with Creed from The Office! He is the man. It's important for you to know that.
I have been married to my babe of a husband for 3 and a half years, and he is my absolute best friend! We do everything together, and we don't even get sick of each other!
I really like to shop! It's a problem. If you also like to shop and need a shopping buddy, I will definitely do that with you! I might not be a great influence if we go together, so if you're one to fall into peer pressure than maybe not!
My husband and I love movies, and we definitely geek out about the cinematography in movies! Also the acting. If the acting is bad, it's a no from me.
I like to decorate my house, and make it look all cute! Having an aesthetic looking home is important to me. Omg I know, such a materialistic girl. It's fine. I like it so shhhhh.
And one last thing you need to know is that I LOVE people! Understanding what makes someone the way they are, people's favorite things, where they come from, everything! You are the reason why I do this!! And I WANT to get to know you!

I wasn't always a wedding photographer

Photography was not always my job! I went to school at BYU-Idaho and studied Social Work! Totally not even in the same realm! I had a job in Rexburg, Idaho where I worked with adults with disabilities. I absolutely loved that job, and adored my clients so much! However, I had the feeling it wasn't exactly what I wanted to be doing. I know, I know, I paid all this money for school and I didn't even stick with it?! Call me crazy, but I'm a firm believer in doing what truly makes you happy!

I have always loved taking pictures, and making people feel good about themselves. You all deserve to feel like the queens and kings you are! My sweet husband bought me my first camera awhile back, and I started right away! I practiced everyday, learned my way around Lightroom and Photoshop, and YouTube became my best friend. I picked it up very fast, and I feel like it was my hidden talent and something I was made to do! From then on, I exploded and grew more than I could have ever imagined. Within a year of owning my first business, I went completely full time!

I am both shocked, and so humbled to have been given this opportunity. I can't believe the growth I have seen both in myself and my business! It has been an absolute privilege to be able to capture all you beautiful souls!
